myVidster now has a Firefox Add-on for bookmarking videos. This add-on behaves just like the bookmarklet, but is easier to install and use.
Currently the add-on is in the Sandbox and will need a few reviews before it can get approved for public use.
If you would like to beta test and review the add-on all you need to do is:
1. Go to Video Bookmarks Add-Ons page.
2. Sign up for an account (Mozilla requires login for addons that are in the sandbox, sorry)
3. Install!!!
Please post a quick review on the Video Bookmarks Add-Ons page. This will help in the approval process.
Thanks

I really like myvidster. Was wondering if it is possible to add a search engine for my videos
(Cyclopedias) onto my website from myvidster.
hi zed, you can wip a search form like this one.
<form name="searchForm" id="searchForm" method="get" action="http://www.myvidster.com/search/"><input type="text" name="q" maxlength="128" value="" size="25"><select name="filter_by"><option value="417" selected>this gallery</option><option value="user">your videos</option><option value="myvidster">myVidster</option></select><input type="submit" value="Search"></form>
Note the value 417 is your gallery/collection ID
thanks for your help. had another question. noticed the option:
Allow User Submissions
in the
Manage Content
section.
Does this feature allow multiple people to contribute videos to a collection? How do I enable it?
my first shot at the user submission functionality did not work that well so I disabled it.
Currently I am working on some new feature call Video Backup where users can backup their videos to myVidster servers. If you are interested in being a Beta testers, please contact me.
As for user submission I will resume my work on this, in the next few weeks.
